Revision and Refund Policy
Career documents are written to a brief, and sometimes a first draft misses it. This sets out what happens when it does.

First-draft assurance
If the first draft does not follow the brief we agreed at the start of your order, we rebuild it. That rebuild does not count as one of your revision rounds, and there is no additional charge.
This covers a draft that targets the wrong role, omits material you supplied, or ignores instructions you gave us. It does not cover a change of mind about the target role after the draft is written, which is new work.
Revision rounds
Every package includes a stated number of revision rounds, listed on the pricing page. Send your feedback in one message per round rather than in pieces, which keeps each round to a single exchange and gets you to a finished document faster.
Revision requests should reach us within fourteen days of delivery. Additional rounds beyond those included can be bought at a rate we will quote before starting.
When we refund in full
We refund the full amount if we have not started writing and you cancel, or if we cannot deliver within the timeline we agreed and you no longer want the work, or if we decline your order after taking payment.
When we refund in part
If you cancel after we have begun writing but before the first draft is delivered, we refund half of what you paid. The remaining half covers the research and drafting already done.
When we do not refund
We do not refund once a first draft has been delivered and your revision rounds are available to you, because at that point the work exists and the process for fixing it is open.
We also do not refund on the basis of an outcome. Not being shortlisted, not being called for an interview and not receiving an offer are not grounds for a refund, because we never promised those results and cannot control them.
How to raise it
Write to hello@visionmate.in with your order reference and what went wrong. We answer within one working day, and process approved refunds within seven working days to the original payment method.
