- Built four REST endpoints for the order service in Java and Spring Boot, covering search, filtering and pagination across a catalogue of 12,000 items.
- Cut the catalogue query from 840ms to 210ms by adding a composite index and removing an N+1 lookup found during profiling.
- Wrote 46 unit and integration tests with JUnit and Testcontainers, taking module coverage from 31 to 78 percent.
- Worked in two-week sprints with a team of six and presented completed work at sprint review.
Projects
Campus Mess Billing System
Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Docker- Replaced a shared spreadsheet used by 400 hostel residents with a service that generates monthly bills and tracks payment status.
- Modelled seven tables with foreign key constraints and wrote the reconciliation query that flags mismatched entries before bills are issued.
- Deployed with Docker Compose on a college server and in continuous use since August 2025.
Transit Delay Notifier
Python, FastAPI, Redis- Polls a public transit feed every two minutes and pushes delay alerts to subscribers.
- Used Redis to deduplicate alerts, which removed almost all repeat notifications during a two-week test.
